Alexander McQueen’s Coroner Blames Drugs, Depression

With more details finally emerging after the tragic loss of Lee Alexander McQueen, a coroner report tells that the designer had numerous drugs in his system.

According to the documents, the London coroner found “a significant level of cocaine, sleeping pills, and tranquilizers in the blood samples” at the duration of McQueen’s passing in February.

Of the suicide by way of hanging, Dr. Paul

Knapman said of McQueen, “[He] killed himself while the balance of his mind was disturbed. [McQueen] had a history of depression and anxiety, and was grieving for his mother.”

The coroner additionally noted the suicide letter found in Alexander’s flat, with the designer saying: “Please look after my dogs. Sorry, I love you. Lee.”
