Brittany Murphy’s Husband Simon Monjack Found Dead

He’s had a rough go of it ever since his wife Brittany Murphy passed away late last year, and Simon Monjack was found dead last night (May 23), presumably of natural causes.

The British screenwriter was discovered in his Hollywood home and pronounced dead after the Los Angeles Fire station was called to reply to a medical emergency.

Ms. Murphy’s

mother Sharon was the one who called the LAPD when she found her 39-year-old son-in-law to be unresponsive.

After his wife’s death, Simon told press, “I took very good care of my wife … She was on an antibiotic and she was taking cough medicine and doing all the right things.”
