Corey Haim: Laid to Rest

Following his sudden and tragic death last week, Corey Haim was laid to rest in his hometown of Toronto, Canada today (March 16).

The “License to Drive” actor’s family gathered at the Steeles Memorial Chapel for a small service before proceeding to Pardes Shalom Cemetery for the burial.And though Corey’s mother Judy Haim claimed the City of

Toronto would be paying for the funeral, a rep for the city says it’s not so.

“The City of Toronto confirms no involvement in funeral costs for Mr. Haim. The City of Toronto has never received an application for assistance with the funeral costs for Mr. Haim.”
