He passed away suddenly early Wednesday wee hours (March 10) and Corey Haim will be laid to rest in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

According to Haim’s manager Marc Heaslip, there will be a memorial service in Los Angeles prior to the funeral in Toronto, and the family will accept donations to help pay for the funeral services.There’s widespread speculation that Corey’s death was the aftereffect of a prescription drug overdose, though Heaslip

says he doesn’t believe it was intentional or the outcome of substance abuse.

Haim was reportedly caring for his ailing mother Judy who was fighting a battle with cancer. And Heaslip says she’s taking it the hardest. “She’s not doing well at all. that is really hitting her. She doesn’t think his death was from pill abuse.”Photo Credit: SplashNewsOnline.com, Wenn.com
