Finished up with her island getaway, the newly-single Hayden Panettiere touched down at LAX Airport with a mystery male by her side on Monday dawn (March 9).

The “Heroes” starlet was returning from Hawaii, where she had attended the grand re-opening of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and a fundraiser benefiting the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation.

During Sunday’s hospital charity event, Miss Panettiere reportedly had a run-in with press on-hand, as she yelled “Back up!”

at photographers while making her entrance.

According to Us magazine sources, the “Heroes” hottie was thereupon tapped on the shoulder by a female television reporter who asked, “May we talk with you, Hayden?”

None too pleased about the shoulder-tapping, Hayden barked back, “Don’t you ever touch me!” before telling a group of reporters, “Oh, am I supposed to do interviews? You all construct my life miserable.”
