As whether they don’t have abundant drama, the Gosselin family is now facing possible issues with labor laws.

According to Us magazine, an research being conducted by the Pennsylvania office of Labor is underway to determine whether their reality TV show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” is violating child labor laws.

After receiving a complaint about the show, Troy Thompson of the PA Dept. of Labor says, “We’re not saying that

there was or was not a violation, just that we’re conducting an review.”

Being on the show, however, means the kids might be exempt from standards such as how many hours they can work per day. Ellen Dannin, a law professor at Penn State Dickinson School of Law says, “It’s not like acting. They’re just going about their regular lives.”
